About Me

Hello, my name is Natalie Stevens and I am the owner and director of Positive Needs.

I worked and studied in Dementia Care for 15 years before starting my business in 2013 designing and making activity products.

It all started when I was working at a day centre for younger people living with Dementia. I began to design games and products that I could use at work and the activities that I'd designed proved to be quite popular.

Our Story

With a positive approach, we at Positive Needs believe at all stages of Dementia a person can experience pleasure through having access to suitable activities. Our motto is ‘Fun not challenging’ We firmly believe this motto. All games, activities and products are designed around this principle.

Many of our products are also suitable for those requiring extra sensory stimulation. Products can benefit those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as those with Autism/ ADHD/ OCD and more.

We make our products with quality in mind. Our products are made robustly from the finest parts & materials and the majority of our products are Made in England. Products are made in accordance with safety standards BS EN71.

We never stop improving, and will continue to expand our products based on how we can best serve people living with Dementia, SEN and ASD.
